What would be all of your feelings about facing a tiger team headed up by ole Bo next year if Miles were to leave?

Bo is a great coach. He is a top 7 or 8 coach IMO.

i like bo alot as a head coach but his d is still to much zone for my liking. also his o with huskers kinda worries the shite out of me. at first i was all for bo but now im not so sure unless he brings in a better oc than what he has with the huskers

The only way I'd feel good about a Bo hire is if he brings in an OC that is proven to be great at developing QBs. Someone who runs a pro-style would be a big plus.

If yall were smart, you'd double whatever Paul Petrino is making at Illinois and bring him in to be Bo's OC. There's loyalty b/w the brothers, but at some point someone in the SEC should give him a shot and no one could blame him for doing what's best for himself. This is all of course just IMO.

Eh, I wouldn't laugh at LSU but I wouldn't say "Oh shite" either.

He's kind of a lunatic a-hole though.

Is Bo the tripper or trippee?

IMHO that is the exact quality that makes Nick Saban such a good coach

As far as Pelini as HC goes, I think I'd fear him just as much if not more than Miles. I am confident in the Petrino v Miles matchup, since BP is 2-1 in just his first three years against LM.

I think this year's Hog team is going to be the norm from now on (with down years being 8/9 wins), and every few years we may hit 11-14 wins. Miles has proven he can do similar things, but if it almost always comes down to Petrino v Miles on the last game, I like Petrino.

Petrino hasn't beaten Saban yet; Saban is a defensive guy and Bo is more like Saban in that way than Miles. If you give Pelini a proven OC, then you're probably look at a slightly better coaching staff than the one you have right now, IMO.

Did you just compare Pelini to Saban?

They shouldn't be compared on any level IMO.

I think if we were to see a Pellini/Saban matchup every November there's a good chance that offensive players could die.

I would feel confident. Especially if he brings his current NU staff with him. His offense is not very good. The defense is fine sometimes, and not others.

I mean, how do you lose to Texas at home this year?
