Seems Dooley at Tennessee is in way above his head. Think he should head to law school. Can't be feeling too good if I am a Vols fan right now. And what's with all the whining and bad sportsmanship on his part and his players.

Not his fault the officials fricked up and North Carolina coaches couldn't get their shite straight.
Rapid improvement throughout the year and a really young nucleus and the smallest team in the league says you're wrong.
And Tennessee is the least penalized SEC team this year so STFU.

It appears that way right now but I think they will give him 2-3 years to turn the program around. He has to rebuild bottom up. Im reserving my judgement for now.

exactly this...do people just think he's a good coach because he's pretty??

I agree, he cries worse than a newborn baby.

I dint believe Dooley is in over his head. He will build that program.
If I'm a Tennesee Fan I would reserve judgement through the end of next season. I personally believe the worst is behind them.

exactly. What game has he lost that he shouldn't have lost given what he's working with?
He arguably should be 8-5 with this team. Thats pretty spectacular when you look at our personnel.

No not at all. He's had the training.....One Season does not make or break any coach.
Evaluate Chiz and Dooley at the end of next year and get back to me.

the bad sportsmanship is interesting.
Dooley forgot "deportment".
It makes one think Dooley is desperate.

UT performed better than I thought they would this year.

I don't believe Dooley is a anything special as a coach, but it has nothing to do with sideline behavior or sportsmanship. That's ridiculous.

quote:Agreed. How do you feel about his coaching ability now? I don't feel nearly as bad about the hire as I did when he was hired. I also still don't see any reason to think we're going to start winning championships. He isn't as bad as Shula or anything, but I don't think he'll be here too long.
