Will a NCAA college football BSC champ ever come from a conference other than the SEC, PAC 10, Big 12 or Big 10? I say not within the next 5 to 7 years.

Was original gonna say in the next 15 years but Mark Cuban may buy the NCAA figured it may take him 7 years to gather up that much cash

Yes. I have a hard time seeing Florida State or Miami being down for long with the talent in that state. It's only a matter of time before at least one of those schools starts competing for national championships again.

West Virginia came close, if not for a serious choke job against Pitt at home. And frankly, a team from the Big East would have it the easiest now. Louisville and TCU are going to be strong in that conference in a few years.

Yes, but only because the SEC will beat up each other. Otherwise, you are right.

What teams would benefit from the lockout and what teams, ultimately, would suffer through constipation? I keep hearing 2 theories on this, Ive always assumed that your LSUs, UAs, etc would catch the downside after a year- am I wrong?

Wouldn't be surprised if Jimbo got one in the next 3-4 years.
