At least OOC play is finally ending so there can be no more embarrassing losses. Unless an East team loses to Auburn or Bama that is.

We will make the AAs, this team is very similar to our team of two years ago, rode through a weak SEC and got put out in the first round.

I am just glad me and my bud turned the car around on the way to Spring Break in Ft Walton and drove to Dallas to see LSU in the Final Four that year....

SEC West teams for whatever reason do not recruit at a high level on a consistent basis.

This may come off as homerish
But SEC basketball needs badly for Arkansas & Florida to be good again.
This conference had a ton of national respect in the 1990's, then again for a couple years in the 2000's when we had consistent top 10 teams.
Right now, no matter how good the best team in the league is, they will not be thought of seriously on a national scale until a couple more teams become relevant nationally again.
Arkansas has no excuse to not be a top program again. Facilities, tradition, etc.. In the next two years it is time for Pelphrey to shite or get off the pot.
Florida should be a lot better as well. The last few years they hit a hot streak then falter down the stretch.

The same was said with Bama in Football.
College Basketball and the SEC are better over all when Arkansas is good.

I think Arkansas can win the West.
If Arkansas can beat Texas in Austin in a week, that would help their RPI rating.
I dunno if that happens though. Played a good aTm team tough. Coaching just is not there.
