Stench over the entire SEC Conference

Slive, you are a complete and utter fool.
It took years for them to resolve the Bush mess, and your mighty SEC staff can make the Cam Newton disgusting mess go away in two days.
The NCAA, which has made many mistakes before, has made maybe one of it's greatest. The assertion that the former alleged Florida academic cheater did not know what his father was up to, is only receptive to a complete moron, or a rabid Auburn fan.
To the latter, you do completely realize that there will always be an asterisk besides the year 2010, should you beat Oregon. This black cloud will never go away. Later, more information will ooze out of the Auburn machinations striving hard to "keep it all together in-house". Human nature will eventually see that impossibility fade, and we will then know the whole story. Expect a Bush-esque treatment sometime down the road
I think Auburn certainly was done an disservice back in 2004, but this "payback" is unsettling at best, and at worst, the worst precedent in NCAA CFB history.

This has not gone away. The investigative branch of the NCAA is completely separate from the eligibility branch. The eligibility branch made their decision based on the facts as presented by Auburn. The investigative branch is still working on this.

Yeah. I'm sure niether Slive, the NCAA, Auburn, or their respective legal teams and pr teams ever considered any of this. Maybe if they were all as well informed and judicious as you, they could have come to the right conclusion. I mean, surly members of the rant are more qualified to run the multi-billion dollar institution that is the SEC?
I'm amazed at the daily "legal eagles" and SEC commissioner wanna be's that have appeared this year.

I predict that Emmert, Slive, and Rodgers Redding will all retire just before the NCAA announces that the FBI has turned over the financial documents rekated to this case. Given that its the Feds, it may take 5 years for them to get convictions on their cases then turn over the evidence. Be patient. In the long run, even the most die hard Auburn fan knows this thing is dirty as hell.
