Can we agree that this has become one of the best games of the year to watch nationwide over the last 5 years or so? The games of the last half decade have been incredible. I can't think of another game in college football that has been as hard fought and competitive over that time. I don't expect this week to be different.

Last 5 years:

Nov 25 2005: LSU 17 - 19
Nov 24 2006: LSU 26 - 31
Nov 23 2007: Ark 50 - 48
Nov 28 2008: Ark 31 - 30
Nov 28 2009: LSU 30 - 33

That's 13 total points over the last 5 years that separate these two teams. Even if I wasn't a fan I would look forward to this game. I don't care if it is a rivalry or not, regardless it is a heck of a game.

Will be a good game, and will make ESPN regret not bringing Gameday to LR.

I agree. I expect a close one, regardless.

Gameday should never, ever come to LR. Never.

Gameday from the 18th fairway would be extremely entertaining!

Agree! As much as I wish it was an even series overall, I do know that in the past decade or so there have been some great games in this series, now if we can make a run starting Saturday and pull off a few in a row this will become a rivalry real quick! IMHO the ground work is there and with us being on the rise it will get better. GO HOGS!

I would agree that it has become a very competitve game over the past few years. It will take our very best game to have a chance this weekend.

Agree, saw a intersting stat in a Baton Rouge paper, the last 3 years the scores of the games come out to be 111-111. Here's to a good game and no injuries.

Not to mention 2004 when Arky and M.Jones drove the field to win in 2 or 3 pass plays

Agreed. The game will be Hell in a Cell since both teams are fighting for a potential BCS bowl, top 10 rankings, and a little mo going into bowl season and 2011. It's hard for me to imagine either team winning by more than 7, and I'm not going out on a limb in predicting the game will go down to the last minute or OT. Fasten your seatbelts.

That was '02. LSU drilled Arkansas in '04 with Marcus Randall having the game of his life.

Wow. An actual civil post between Ark and LSU fans.

This has been a great series and will continue to be.
