With all this talk about the newtons wanting money. Where is any blame for Miss St. alums for even talking bout paying for a player? Also if we hear bout Cam is there any other player getting a lil extra under the table also. The tables could turn on Miss St.

Why did MSU continue to recruit Cam after the Egg bowl if their coaches knew that money was asked for?

Their intent to break NCAA rules will not go unnoticed.

as a booster you cannot control who talks to you or approaches you. The NCAA says that if you are approached by a person attempting to "sell" a player to a school, it is the responsibility of that booster to report it to the school, which Bond did. This in itself relinquishes Bond of any violations.

As soon as Bond got word he reported to our school's AD. Now you could question what was Bell doing. Curiosity on seeking how much? Rogers, shady mofo IMO.

Which athlete on our football team is worth paying under the table?

Because the school reported it to the SEC.

See my post on page 20 of the big thread. My question is why was Bell still talking to Rodgers and Cecil Newton after he knew they wanted money? Two scenarios: He was tryingto get Cam for less than what they were asking, or, Bell was gathering as much damning info as he could to make sure whoever Cam signed with got the hammer.

It is a very valid point.

There is intent in there.

they should have to answer for that. they knew, if found out, they would be playing a player that would have been declared ineligible. guess they took that into account when they decided to turn auburn in. the fact they didn't pay would be in their favor, however.
