Wow! This dude saw the SMU-style recruiting,and told Lache to look elsewhere, and this was a ways back. Props to Born, a true friend of Lache, evidently!

Yeah, its impossible to believe that Auburn only got into this with Cam Newton.
Born was a close personal friend of Lache and was right there with him throughout the whole recruiting process. For him to say that months ago, is indicting, to say the least.
Gives weight to the idea that Auburn did in fact pay Cam.
