Sure, if CN is deemed ineligible, I would like to see them severly sanctioned. But on the other hand, if the kid is exonerated, most on here and in the media will still feel that he was guilty and got away with it.

For UF, Bama, and LSU fans, think about the feeling you had when your team was on top. Going through the season taking on all ontakers and pulling out victories. I think that AU deserves that same feeling. They have been a pretty good program the last decade. They have played in and won some BIG games.

As stated, I think they deserve sanctions if found guilty, but I also think a lot of people will feel like jackazzes if they are found to be well within compliance. I posted yesterday about not pulling for them in whatever bowl game they make. I had to revisit my thoughts, I think I was going more off my heart than my mind.

Congrats AU and hopefully CN is exonerated of all wrong-doing. You have a quality team this year and you deserve that special feeling that every fanbase enjoys on a MNC season. I also would love to see MSU have that feeling and season.

Ding Ding Ding

No worries though. Most all Aubs are enjoying the shite out of this season and waiting for the NCAA to announce their findings, before bailing on the characters in this story.

I would play him the rest of the year, guilty or not, money or not, the kid can play period! The sad thing is, if he went to MSU none of this would have come out.. " There is no hell like a SEC school scorne"

then expect every 5* athlete to be shopped to every school but one, the one they sign with if the cash doesnt materialize

Cam will be slapped with something, pretty huge IMHO, to stop this from ever occuring again

I think that most of us would rather our schools play CN than sit him if we were in AU fans shoes. You think UGA fans were happy that AJ Green was missing games while they were losing?

Like it or not, CFB is engulfed in a win at all cost atmosphere. LSU fans, how many of us still wanted RP on the team while we endured JL's pick6's? Be honest.

Nobody can really say how the NCAA will rule. Cam may or may not have really known about the money. What's most disturbing is the role his father played in all this.

I would be pissed as hell if LSU had a legitimate shot at a MNC and we sat our best player and lost some games. Then the NCAA concludes their investigation, only to find Cam eligible. Chizik would have the school, boosters, and fans ALL OVER HIM!

Let's say Cam is ruled ineligible. LSU fans would be happy, but would it really change the fact that they put over 400yds rushing on us? Have we ever been accused of having shady dealings with recruits? Before you answer, think about it. Better yet, why is McCarthy no longer here? It happens at EVERY MAJOR PROGRAM.
