Unlike USC with California, the state of Alabama doesnt have a "huge" recruiting pool and Bama seems to soak up most of that top tier talent anyway. With all thats leaked out so far, how bad is this going to get for Auburn even before the hammer falls?

It certainly can't help. Their class is teh suck this year, regardless. Coincidence? I think not....

We'll gladly take Dismukes, Rose, and Florence. The rest are projects.

It's going to be expensive now that recruits know the starting price is $180,000.

As of right now it's not a very big obstacle. If or when more information comes out linking Auburn paying Newton then it will become a major issue.

The recruiting has been slow for Auburn since August, way before news was leaked about Newton.

most of the time recruiting picks up the yr after a team does really well. this wont be the case for auburn for 2012 class if the ncaa brings the hammer down.
