I think they stand a very good chance of winning their last two games. If they can capture some momentum going into next year, look out!

It must be sad when you have to win your last two games to be bowl eligible.

Considering the mess that Kiffen left them in, I think it's pretty damn impressive. This is a really young team that could be dangerous in the SEC (l)east next year. JMHO

With their QB showing he has what it takes and the amount of freshman and sophomores that got a ton of experience this year, they could win the East next year.

This is vastly over exaggerated.

just wait until the NCAA rules, then you'll see why they want to go to a bowl this year

Not really. He left us a lot of talented freshman, but we have like a combined 30 scholarship sophomores, juniors, and seniors.

Agreed. Auburn and Ole Miss being in trouble would help recruiting, especially if we win our bowl game.

I still don't think next year is the year. Barring injuries, other issues, If we don't win 9 in 2012, Dooley should be shown the door.

What mess did he leave them in that was his fault? Blame Fulmer if anything.

How can you blame the juniors and seniors on Kiffin? Fulmer needs to be blamed for our depth problems.

only because the entire east will be pretty shitty, yet again.
back in 2007 when we back-doored our way into SECCG with 2 losses I thought we got extremely lucky and didn't deserve it. but just look at it this year. SC snicks in with 3 friggin conference losses. I don't think that's ever happened in the East before. I think next year will be pretty similar with 2-3 loss team winning the East.

Oh I agree. Fulmer is the most at fault. But our depth issues were intensified by Kiffin leaving. It sucked to have Brown and Douglass leave, and our recruiting class wasn't as strong as it would have been. Dooley did a good job of saving the class as much as he could.

Regardless of whose fault it is, it's still a mess.

Kiffin going to USC did leave us with a few holes, but he left us with some studs as well.

Still missing the point. Regardless of who is to blame, getting to a bowl game would be a good enough accomplishment with this team. Next year, we should win at least 7, and I maintain that Dooley should be gone if we can't win 9 in 2012, unless there are other problems that come up such as injuries. I don't think any NCAA issues will cause us a big problem.
