Regardless of conference.
Regardless of year.
What schools have the most violations since that stuff was being monitored?
The only thing I could find was a blog about it.
LINK
I'll hang up and listen.
EDITED to add: Football - Baseball - Basketball only

I think SMU and Arizona ST. are tied with the most with 8 and Auburn is right behind with some other schools at 7.

I am speaking of Major not minor violations.

10. Colorado. Two names: Slick Rick Neuheisel and Gary "Who Me?" Barnett. Five major institutional NCAA infractions at Colorado, including two this decade, according to the NCAA. Numerous rape accusations against recruits and players. Very solid work, fellas, very solid work.
9. Florida State. Pains me to put them here because I think Bobby Bowden is one of the best human beings on the planet, but I can't skip over Free Shoes University.
8. Texas A&M. The state of Texas, football and rules violations go together like ham, egg and cheese. Might deserve a higher slot, but the Aggies' cheat-to-win ratio is low. In other words, it hasn't been money well spent.
7. Washington....
6. Miami (Fla.). This is an interesting one. In terms of total school major infractions (all sports), the mighty Hurricanes are tied at five with universities like Baylor, Mississippi State and the University of Texas-Pan American, and behind the University of Memphis and the Minnesota Golden Gophers (such a cute mascot for such blatant rules violators). Thus Miami loses some street cred. You cannot be but so much a bad arse when Texas-Pan American nearly out-cheats you. But ah, the Hurricanes. They are like the Smokey Robinson of rules breakers. They might not be the all-time best but they make the most out of their opportunities.
5. SMU....
4. Arizona State....
3. Oklahoma....
2. Auburn.... Fill in the blank
1. Alabama. This is all you need to know about the skill and greatness of Alabama. An NCAA committee found that booster forked over $150,000 to a high school coach as a guarantee that a defensive lineman would attend Alabama. Yes -- $150,000. Now that is how you break the rules, people.

FWIW OM was given the second harshest penalty of all-time when Brewer got caught paying players.
Those were some tough days.

That was an opinion piece on CBS a while back. It's not an "official" list.

How did USC not make the list considering the Reggie Bush situation. Very similar to the Bama deal...

Alabama is not even in the Top 20 of NCAA violations

My little brother got caught up in that crap. Offered to walk-on by Brewer and told to walk-off by Tubberville.

That list is way off IMO. The USC recruitment of Joe McKnight should have been on there. SMU's players took a pay cut when they went pro.

That's a fricking blog post. Alabama has 5 major violations. Auburn has 7, going on 8.
