Championship game, while LSU wins out? Would LSU jump TCU/Boise? This is totally possible & the computers would be on our side!

I think a one-loss Auburn or LSU could jump Boise St., but I don't think jumping TCU is likely at all. The voters have too much of a boner for them even thought they don't really play anyone, and Utah is really bad.

They were talking about this possibility on the BCS show last night. They brought how Nebraska (I think in 2001?) got to the National Championship without winning their conference. According to them, they said things have changed in the BCS to make that nearly impossible to happen. I'd say it's pretty unlikely.

a different scenario i haven't seen discussed yet! B/c i think UF will beat South Carolina and go to the SEC Championship.

I think the scenario where Auburn loses to Al and loses the sec championship game combined with an Oregon loss may be the only way in. I dont think the powers that be would put 2 teams from non bcs conference in the bcs nc.

TCU is very capable of beating anyone. They look fundamentally sound in all aspects of the game. I know they're not playing a difficult schedule, but they're whipping everyone's arse which is what a superior team should do.

I don't like that 1 b/c then if Nebraska has only 1 loss and wins Big 12 Title we get hosed! lol

I think it is possible another one loss team from another conference could come into play. It would not surprise me to see a Wisconsin team jump LSU in the human polls to keep a non-conference winner out of the game.

LSU will NOT jump TCU if TCU wins out. No way.

I think a 1 loss LSU or Auburn team would still be #2 in the BCS, even over TCU. The computers love both teams.
