LSU loses Hurst and Taylor for remainder of the season.

That sucks, both were doing well as of late, but they both have at least one more year.

We have Shaw to replace Hurst and it's his time to shine(I have been wanting him to get his chance)

We have gobs of Safeties to replace taylor.

Claiborne should be back by Ole Miss game.

Jefferson will be good to go for ULM

i figured taylor and hurst were done for the year.

we have now lost our entire right side of the line but i do like shaw.

i agree we have plenty of safties to fill in and never let the job go.

I'm not being a dick, but I think BT was the worst starter on defense. I loved his brother Curtis but Brandon just seems a tad out of place on a regular basis. I hope he makes a great recovery and improves dramatically.

How did Hurst get hurt? i was at the game and was following the ball and missed it.

Like all lineman injuries, someone fell on the back of their leg.

taylor had been playing better as of late. he wasn't good in the auburn game but he had improved some what.

i still think reid and big poppa should always be playing.

A Bama player swung off of Ridley and fell on the back of Hurst's legs while he was blocking someone.

He came back in for one series I think - not sure if he'll play this Sat or not.

what were the injuries to Hurst and Taylor? ankle and knee, respectively? that's what it looked like.

Will the Hurst or Taylor injuries require surgery?

have they said what the injuries are? taylor's looked like he got caught in the turf and his leg gave out but they said it was a foot injury.

hurst looked like a foot or ankle.

sucks to lose taylor but you've got eugene, hatcher, reid, loston, brooks, vinson, bryant etc.

losing hurst sucks worse although you gotta love shaw's performance. just sucks when you consider we also lost blackwell on the fricking first offensive play of the season.
