in your opinion? It seems like he was the most talented player on the field most weeks in the PAC-10. Down hea, he's just a small fish in a big Lake Pontchartrain.

Just proves that the SEC > Oregon

I think Ole Miss has a true freshman starting in their O-line....that usually isn't good....

had two True Freshman and one redshirt Freshman playing last week on O-Line

Overall I would say he's underperformed, just because I think a lot of people expected him to have a Cam Newton impact. For me he has pretty much met expectations. The offense has put up points. He's done pretty well but has looked bad at times, because the offense is not the perfect offense for him like Oregon's was.

Arkansas loses one starter on the OL this year and they start 2 freshman, OG Alvin Bailey 6' 5" 323 LBS, and C Travis Swanson 6' 5" 305 LBS.
Starters:
SR - 1
JR - 2
SO - 0
FR - 2
Backups:

If Oden didn't get mono he would probably be starting at Tackle this year as a true sophomore. Thanks a lot dumbass for allowing Dominguez to play.

He is playing better and in all fairness does suffer because his receivers have worse hands than LSUs, however, the Masoli experiment (and the inherent risk therein) was undertaken to do one thing and one thing only...win.
As the Ole Miss record indicates, they are not winning and have lost at a minimum, two games that they should not have lost.
As a result, up to this point in my opinion, he has underperformed relative to winning, which was the acquisition's stated purpose. Statistically, he is not that bad. Given the circumstances, I don't think there is a QB in the SEC short of Cam Newton that would have led Ole Miss to SECw contention.
In summary, at this point it is a push and with a surprise win over Auburn, LSU or State, I think he could be viewed as at least meeting expectations, if not exceeding them.

Ole Miss OL
Starters:
SR-0
JR-1
SO-1
TFR-3
Masoli is a damn good QB and a blast to watch. I would have loved to have had him last year when we had a O-LINE and dexter.

I believe his point was that playing freshmen on the Oline is not mutually exclusive to Ole Miss.

Clearly he has exceeded expectations--he hasn't been arrested in Oxford yet.

That he threw for damn near 400 yards and ran for another 100 against a SEC defense when his offensive line would have trouble starting at Northwest Juco. He has exceeded my expectations considering the OL and the fact that he had less than a month to practice before the season started.

QB Killa Nutt keeps Masoli mute for the most part...
I think he would've fit in better at State, and been more effective.

i agree with you. you responded to the wrong guy. i think masoli is a solid qb. i wish we had him. i think more ball controll and missed opportunities is why we lost to auburn despite the great cam newton. i wouldn't say he exceeded my expectations though. i think he is a victim of less offensive talent at ole miss than oregon. maybe had a better oc at oregon as well.

Terrible post. Masoli was great last week and is OM's best offensive player.
