Fellow Rebels, can we make a bowl?

It's not unreasonable. There are three more very doable games on our schedule- @ TN, LA Lafayette and the Egg Bowl.
6-6 can be done. The season can be salvaged.
What say you?

I agree. Plus, we always play LSU a good game.

Exactly. LSU should win that one, but there's reason to believe we'd have a chance in Death Valley.

I've actually seen us beat LSU more times in BR than
VHS.

Ole Miss will win.

Don't be so fast. Our game with Ole Miss reminded me of the A&M game. The next week they were smashed by Missouri, a very good defensive unit.
I'm not saying Ole Miss can't win, they can, but to flat out say they will is a bit naive.
I think Ole Miss will make a bowl if they can find a way to pass the ball (LSU can relate to this, passing the ball that is).

I don't see UM beating MSU. You never know with LSU though. LSU seems to always have an issue with Nutt coached teams.

We shouldn't. Of the three mentioned, I'd say that's the least winnable game. But it is at home and that game can get wild in a hurry so there is a chance.

Who are the Rebels? I thought you were the Black Bears now.

Probably, but who cares at this point. Let's just beat LSU and MSU.

I said 6-6 before the season for the Black Bears...
Good Luck!

should i bump the preseason threads saying 7 wins were guaranteed and anyone who disagreed was dumb? for any other team i probably would. but the UM-Ark fighting has finally died down

At least losing the Jax St game didn't hurt your bowl chances.
Seriously though, JSU is undefeated so far and will probably finish the regular season undefeated as well. Looking back, not such a terrible loss.

In those same threads you would see 8-9 wins as being touted as "realistic" as well as complaints about "yet another trip to the cotton bowl".
Some notable Ole Miss posters have been absent today...

Officially, it is Rebel the Black Bear per OM P.R. Dept.

So far the damn Black Bear is 0-2, or in the red. Maybe should be the Red Bear instead of Reb Bear

You can still make a bowl. Good luck the rest of the way.
