All year they play pressure D and today they switch to a more conservative game plan to try and stop Newton? we can say it, LSU is probably the most talented team in the SEC this year, we just have the worst coaching staff ever assembled on a D1 football team

More like they hadn't played any good offenses until today

How about on our game tying drive the attempt on 4th down where no one on the offense knew what they were doing AFTER a timeout

No, actually. Their entire defensive scheme was changed for this game for some reason. I didn't notice it at first till SFP pointed it out.

The conservative plan worked to some extend. They held them to 17 points until the 4 quarter, LSU's O can't put points on the board, that's what lost the game..

Auburns O is really good.

the easiest thing to say is we got out coached. i do not think we executed on offense like we should have. alot of swing/screen passes in the first half, we have play makers it just seems we are not confident on trying to throw the ball down field

There are so many problems on the team. No QB, OL is still weak, WRs still can't catch, players on offense still don't know where to line up, etc... Now add a pathetic defensive game plan and we deserved to get run out of the stadium.

All week, talk about loading the box..., sit back and play come gameday the pass. Shity tackling didn't help either.

Umm that because we dont have a real QB or our real QB doesnt get enough playing time.

Either way we may never know...............

I figured FOR SURE we'd stack the box and have one-on-on coverage.

This. Your defense was absolutely ripped for 550. Over 400 on the ground. Time to admit your D (and team) were vastly overrated.

f-cking wrong...Yards don't matter, points matter..

The D held Auburn to 17 points until the 4 quarter...Look at the Ark/ Auburn game thats bad D.

In all seriousness, our pass rush with Sam Montgomery out has not been the same. People don't realize what a huge loss he has become.

Not an excuse, just pointing out that our pressure has not been near to where it was when he was healthy.
