This isn't the case, however being in the SEC I will gladly trade the filler sport before baseball and spring Football to have a decent ranked football team and not have to start basketball posts in September to feel better about myself.

Yall consistently win the west or challenge for it. This year will be no different. I don't understand a portion of your fanbase that wants Stansbury fired. I know fans want a deeper run in the NCAA tourney...

Those guys are mostly idiots who have never played or even watched much basketball. Coach Stansbury does a great job at State, hell he's our all time winningest coach.

I don't know. I watched an NCAA game a couple of years ago where they gave Memphis a hell of a game and could have won. Very good team that year.

Second round, he always seems to go up against the hottest team or a NCAA Cinderella like Xavier they year they beat us and almost beat Duke to make the Final Four.

Just looked it up.
Never made it past the 2nd Round in 12 years.
ETA: I had always been a fan of Stansbury until I saw how poorly his team was prepared to play at the end of the season this year. Getting run by Tennessee at your own house when you're on the bubble is unacceptable imo.
