Tennessee fans think im on drugs when i say Tennessee will upset Florida this weekend. Now before you say it, i know it is very much unlikely to happen. But ive said that to at least 50+ Tennessee fans and they freak out and instantly start pointing out the reasons they dont stand a chance. If you're really a fan you should at least give your team some sort of a chance. Its Tennessee, at home, against their most hated team and they have " NO CHANCE TO WIN AT ALL". That has upset written all over it. And Florida has showed nothing that impressive to this point. And since im VERY confident, that LSU will handle Mississippi State. I figure this will be a more compelling game to bet on. Seeing as i dont have a avatar, id be willing to bet Tennessee upsets Florida. You can pick what the bet is. And i know im new-ish here, and all that jazz, but this is to make the game more interesting and fun, so im game
And im a LSU fan, not a Tennessee fan at all, like i said, this game is just more of an underdog that i think will win.

I agree with you. I think Florida is very talented, but they don't look like a very good "team" up to this point.
Regarding UT, there is a rumbling voiced by at least one of their players and their coach that they, in effect, quit in the 3rd quarter of the Oregon game.
In the first half though, they really stuck it to the Ducks.
If they do the same against Florida, I am not convinced the Gators have the offensive ability (not potential, ability) to hit them back.
I like the Vols to rebound and start building Dooley's legend on Saturday.

Honestly, the way Tennessee played in the first half of the Oregon game, they impressed me with their play in a loss, more then Florida did in both of their wins. But this isnt of those games where Florida is in the mindset of " ok, we play, dont make too many mistakes, and we got this won" They know Tennessee is going to give them the biggest fight so far. I still think Tennessee wins this game if they can keep consistent play like they did the first half last week.

They need to win the turnover battle for sure, and use that RB (forgot his name but he got 162 yds against UO) to keep UF's defense on the field.
Also not sold on Brantley. He looks like Bambi on ice.

I think we're in for a massacre, folks.

It should be illegal to quote Mussburger before dawn.

You live in Knox? We should get a beer during the LSU-TN game somewhere.

"I live in Knoxville"
Isn't that a crime within itself ?

You never know. A very slow-starting UF offensive squad that's still searching for it's identity going into a VERY hostile environment....
Like I said, you never know....

Its funny, i kinda thought way more Bama fans would reply to this then Florida fans would. And you Bama fans didn't disappoint.Ironically, i thought the same thing about the Bama and UT game last year. That was a FG away from upset. I hope Tennessee can pull it together to just play 1 good game and upset a team. Then i dont care if they win another game the rest of the season.

How's that for a response.

I don't see UTk winning, but I don't think this one will be a blowout unless Brantley suddenly becomes the player we were told last year was the 3rd best QB in the SEC despite being a backup. From what I have seen of him, I can't believe anyone was ever dumb enough to actually believe that shite.

that's because you had zero expectations for UT and high expectations for Florida

why do I hear so many "primed for an upset" from so many news media? there were at least 4 or 5 this week I believe.

Because upsets are EXCITING and SEXY!
Yes, Tennessee could beat Florida. It's within the realm of possibility. Since it's highly unlikely to happen, that makes it an UPSET IN THE MAKING!

That could be exactly why. But i really dont think Florida is that much to be feared. Just makes me think of last year how everyone was waiting for LSU game by game to get it going and become a dominating force, and that never really happened, That could be Florida this year.
