Looking back would ya'll like to have Eddie Lacy now(yes, I mean after he made the grades)? Would you take him over Ford ?

no. neither one will be used as effective as they would in bama. so why bother.

Lacy was too much of a risk and Ford was rated just as high. If I remember right, Saban recruited Ford just as hard.

Let's see what Lacy does against a SEC opponent.
That was San Jose St.

Plus, if LSU keeps Hilliard and Hill for next year it won't matter.

Oh I agree. But seems the kid was really short changed by Miles and co. The kid has huge talent and IMO very compareable to Ford.

I love what I've heard about Ford

so no - no reason to pine for another potential baller

No.

Sentimore is the only Bama player from Louisiana I would want.

Lacy was not shortchanged by Miles
He was not eligible until right before the fall and everyone seemed to think he was headed to JC
Miles did drop the ball on Sentimore though

I still to this day, do not know how Bama got him qualified. It was a small miracle or yall just cheated.

LSU did the same thing to Dez Bryant and DeAndre Brown when their grades were questionable.

All of it is water under the bridge.

We won't know whether Ford or Lacy is better until we see what they do over their whole carreers.

depending on how our OL's shape up over their college careed may make this judgement unfair to the rb.

From what I saw of Ridley it may be time to get Ford more playing time.

I would have liked both of them. I think time well tell whether Ford or Lacy is better.

He had one game with a fumbling issue, lets see what happens next week before we declare him unfit for play

Not really. He was a risk. He put himself in a hole early on in high school and it really didn't look like he would qualify. I'm sure he surprised even Saban.....who was probably prepared to send him to JUCO.

Possibly early on, but we had Richardson in the same class. So, I doubt it.
