Yea but the difference is when that guy walked through their Intention Detector, the academics light flashed not the athletics light. So they knew he was really doing it for academics

I agree this rule is a stupid one, but its their rule. I mean when they created it did they really think that transfers would be academically motivated? Surely not. The big difference in Masoli's case and this one is Masoli has 2 years to play 1 where this guy had only 1 year to play 1. The NCAA hasnt mentioned that as a factor, but I predict it will be brought up. The graduate program is a 1 year program so I do not know if this would help or hurt our argument. I will have a new found respect for Boone if he can get this appealed because it is going to take some serious politicin to get the NCAA to admit theyre wrong.
