ESPN has been ridin our jock so hard that I'm happy to see them hop on something else and give us time to recover.

Herbstreit also said Ryan Williams is the best RB in the country.

I have to agree with them.

That's a stretch, but not a huge one. Evans and Williams are no joke and are easily in the top 5 for RB units. Still think Ingram/Richardson > Evans/Williams

Ow noez. Somebody has an opinion that hurts my feelings.

Seriously though, there is no shame in sharing this spotlight with VT. Their running backs are very good and are a legitimate contender for best group in the country.

Nothing wrong with saying they are every bit as talented.

Where I would take exception is if he stated that they do more production-wise in relation to the team. Hell, a team like LSU is more talented than everyone else. Its what you do with that talent that counts.

You start a thread implying they've somehow insulted or otherwise slighted Ingram and Richardson, when all they've done is used them as the current benchmark.

Take it as a compliment.

Also, he's probably right.

Actually, I have seen Virginia Tech's running backs play in person last year in the G-Dome. Ingram straight up stole the show

When you don't use the reply function properly, some of the rantards can get confused. Slow down on your posting a bit til you get a handle on that.

Is he the one that talked about how much trouble we were going to have with Thunder and Lightening that time we played Clemson? What did we hold them to...I can't remember...was it ZERO (0) yards.

What did the two teams do head to head? I believe Alabama had over 200 yards rushing against Virginia Tech. Virginia Tech did not. You can't really judge them by that stat alone but it helps.

Ingram got twice as many carries as Williams and had almost exactly twice as many yards. Williams had one more TD that game as well. Makes you wonder why he only got 13 carries
