That is a good pick up. Stars don't mean shite in my opinion. Tyler Love was a 5 star and he sucks and Rolondo McClain was a 4 star. I think Javier Arenas was a walk on that only had an offer from Florida International or maybe Shula gave him a scholly, I don't remember, but he wasn't tranked very high.
I think different players are a different fit for certain programs and it all depends on where you need a guy as to who you take at a certain position. If the guy has a certain level of atheletic ability the rest is up to the coaching staff.

I remember before Saban came when I would post things like "3 star, but has good offers."
Auburn is having a decent recruiting year, but they have no chance at a top 5 type of class like they had last year. It gets a lot harder to recruit when you can't offer every 4 star player immediate playing time.

We are about to add 3 four star players in the next few weeks so I think we will make a push for the top 10.

Rose is committing on the 1st. I think we may be close to solidifying a lead for Roberson. Right now it is probably 50/50 between us an UF. Same could be said for Blakely.

Yeah theres probably a decent chance after his Sr. year he can get bumped up to a 4*. I know SC fans are expecting that for 1-3 of the group of 3*s we have right now. Especially one who was also offered by PSU, Ohio State, and a handful of other SEC schools.
