How many think this is Saban's last year at Bama? I'm thinking he's setting himself up for another shot at the NFL.

are you saying NFL teams are no longer interested, or do you think Saban has no interest?

I doubt it. why would he be in movies that show who he is and what we're all about here at Bama if he had ANY plans to leave? this is clearly a recruiting tool. I mean, if he goes to the NFL... he ain't thinking about that job right now is all I'm saying.

....."this is only the beginning!"

either way though, at least he finally got us a real trophy.

I actually think he will leave before the start of fall practice. UA has nothing to offer, & he is headed off for bigger & better things..

Um, marketing and promotion of one's self? Perhaps to keep his name out there? I think the apology to the Dolphins and trying to spin the years there as a positive was the most telling sign that he's setting himself up for another attempt at the NFL.

Saban's going nowhere. He's staying at Alabama because:

1. The NFL doesn't really want him
2. Alabama will pay him

All of the players are paid in the NFL, so that also takes away an advantage he has at Alabama.

Dont waste your money picking lotto numbers because you will not win there either...
Sounds like wishful thinking on your part.

Saban will retire at Alabama. That may be next year or 10 years from now but Alabama will be his last coaching job.

Bama giving him a statue made sure of this. He knows if he left now they would kill him at the border.

Saban isn't allowed to leave, he will be released at the appropriate time.

He owns this state, he could run for Guvna and win.
