I get in my car ('82 Chevette)and a 'BamaOnline' writer is being interviewed by a couple of schmucks on ESPNAustin-radio.
Can't recall the writers name but he blasted Arkansas (eventhough he got everything wrong, to include mentioning Todd Day winning a NC at Arkansas) and said we aren't good enough for the SEC. I'm not sure why USC, Ole Miss, Miss. St., Kentucky and Vandy (schools we've outperformed) don't get this comment as often as we do?
Then he mentioned how the sports world is currently in it's rightful place with Duke, the Yankees, the Lakers and the Crimson Tide all being champions.
The hosts went on to say it would be more appropriate if the Longhorns, the 'premier football team in America', were champions instead.
The BOL writer said 'either will do'. I was hoping he would have informed them that they have 1 NC in 40 years and 3 overall, but he dropped the ball there.
Then there was more Arkansas bashing, I started to cry and now I'm here hoping someone can loan me some Vag-cream.

I don't understand all the Arky hate. They bring a hell of a lot more than Ole Miss, Miss State, or Vandy. And Kentucky when they suck at basketball.

We finish 2nd behind Florida in overall men's sports this past sports year.

The outside is a two-tone Mocha and the interior is what I like to call Mango.
The Razorback plate on the front really sets it apart from other Chevette's.

I have to agree with you on that. I have always thought Arkansas was a much better program that all of those listed programs except Ole Miss and I think y'all are every bit as good as Ole Miss.

I like Arky in the SEC, despite the good humored jabs, and I am surprised people are serious when they bash, tbh. I would get tired of it too.

I do too actually. Except the past 2 yrs, they've played Bama hard and been competitive since they joined. Having said that, I'd prefer more of the last two yrs.

Obviously we're not elite, and I'm not as sensitive to perception as I'm making myself sound, but who wants to get in their Chevette and hear their program getting shite on, again, as if we are the bad news bears across the board.

He's wrong. Just let it go. Most of these writers are just trying to make a name for themselves. Sounds like he's trying to be a mini-Finebaum and he's bad enough.

No shite...it's bad enough that you drive a chevette but then to have to hear someone beat up on your football team to go along with it is more than a man should have to endure.
In the future I would just tell people I drive a vette!
