I was just going about my business today when I had a Mississippi St fan tell me that "Louisiana is running out of good players" and that "State is going to kill LSU from now on."
Now, I'm not a huge Miles fan, but really? a team we haven't lost to in a decade talking shite like that?

State will be on the rise this year. But, I don't see them coming into Baton Rouge and "kicking our arse"
They'll put up a good fight in the 1st and 2nd quarter (maybe even the 3rd). But, we'll take care of them in the end.

I would never make a prediction like that but I've had several LSU fans admit they should have lost last year in Starkvegas. I think an MSU win under Mullen isn't far fetched.

Mullens had his first year brainfart..not slamming his best player in with two tries from the 1..
Saban has UAB in BR in yr 1..Richt's first year brainfart on CBS..Miles vs Tenn 2nd Half..etc..

Yea thats pretty dumb, but in all fairness yall barely escaped with a win last year and they should be much improved this year, so a loss to them this year is not impossible. I don't see them "killing" LSU this year but they could win.

Exxxcuse me? Isn't Louisiana going to have one of their best classes ever this year? And didn't State sign a medicocre, "but we filled our needs" class?

If im not mistaken, LSU had a TD on a pick 6 and a 90 yd punt return.
Seems like that kinda evens things out.
FWIW, I dont think we have a very good chance to win this year in Baton Rouge but it will be a competative game.

Im glad other fan bases are getting a good look at how these State fans really are. Theyre the most optimistic trash talking fans in the SEC.
If they beat you last year then it doesnt matter what has gone on in the past decade, theyre on the rise and yall are headed to the cellar. If they went to Atl. over a decade ago, yet remained in the cellar for most of this past decade, it doesnt matter, they have a winning tradition. If you beat them 10 years in a row and they almost beat you last year, then this year youre getting your arse beat. They have incredible tunnel vision and will look at any scenario that gives them a better program and better chance of beating you.
State fans, everyone here knows that Mullen is a good coach and that yalls program is improving, you don’t have to trash talk. You sound like complete idiots when you are guaranteeing wins over SEC powers UGA and LSU, one who you haven’t beaten in a decade, another since the 50’s.

I disagree, Louisiana will always have great players, LSU will lose out on Louisiana talent if the problem that I think we both agree on is not solved.

at state beating our arse. our win streak should be even longer if the sec didn't have stupid pieces of shite for refs. the state running back crawled into the endzone in 99. they outplayed us this year and still lost to us. they aren't going to win in br. I do believe they could be on the rise though with mullen as he is a good coach but kicking our arse just aint goin to happen.

I agree. And its not fair to start a thread quoting someone who is not even a poster on here, but theres still a thread going about how State will beat UGA, and several bets made. I agree that auburn and arky are incredible optimistic regarding winning the west and beating bama, but state is right in that mix of trash talking idiots. Of course some of yall have brains
