Who provides the most leaderhip for your team? Alabama's 3 Captains from last season (Mike Johnson, Javy, and Rolando) are all gone. I think we have some guys who can step up and provide leadership (GMac, Barron, Vlachos, Ingram) where we need it. What about the rest of the teams represented on the rant?

I was going to say the first two. Still not sure about Russell. Hopefully Terrance Toliver will man up and take control of the offense.

TT was another choice but I figured I would dodge nola's arrested comment.

RS is going to step up big time in the next two years

Mike Pouncey, Ahmad Black, and Justin Trattou seem like the biggest leaders right now.

Everyone looks up to John Brantley and respects him in the huddle, but I wouldn't elevate him to great leader status yet.

Right back at ya Bradelyj.

I think K Shep is spot on, and it's too early on RS - though he sounds like a level headed guy in every interview I have heard. I will agree to disagree on PP, of course, though I will be accused of flaming in doing so. He just seems more about himself than a team. What about one of your O-lineman? Dworaczyk or Blackwell?

Maybe one of the linemen. None of them have striken me as very vocal leaders as of late. We will see. I wish Jefferson would take control

Seriously, does this guy actually get PT for Auburn, or is he more of an inspirational type leader similar to Rudy?

I kind of agree with this but this is the downfall of some of the games greatest players, I think he will be the best cb in the nation this yr if he does not get caught up in his press clippings like Webster did his last yr.

I wouold assume and HOPE that Hightower will be as effective a leader as RM was, but some guys dont respond to just anyone getting in their face like the defense seemed to with RM.

I think PP is going to try his best to show that he's the best especially because of the last two games against BAMA. He said in an interview that he thinks about that interception play every day (not gonna go there).
But I think he's a team player who just wants to prove himself.
