The Hardest has to be Vandy, followed by UF, then UGA.

MSU and Ole Miss have the exact same requirements per Mississippi Law. It's to help ensure that the small schools stay in business......at the expense of the larger schools.

So OM and State have the same admission requirements as Jackson State and Southern Miss?

Depends. For an athlete all are pretty much the same except for Vandy and Bama. Bama has a special retard clause they use for kids like Cody and Marcel Dareus.
For normal students Im going to say Arkansas. Because really who would want to go to Arkansas for any reason. So the have to have easy standards to attract dumb people.

And Alcorn and Mississippi Valley State and Delta State.
Because a Federal judge decided that it was "racist" to have separate standards of admissions for historically black schools and historically white ones.....
Why this was only applied to Mississippi, I have no idea, but it was.....Ole Miss has tried to partially remedy the situation by creating an Honors College with higher standards......

Yes.
If you have an 18 on your ACT and a 3.0 GPA you are granted automatic admission.
Nearly nobody gets in with less than automatic admission at Ole Miss and State.
You can get in with lower numbers to Jackson State and Southern. The average ACT scores at State and Ole Miss are both over 23, but the average at Jackson State is just 17.
It's kind of a hold everyone else back so no child gets left behind thing.

Getting into Tennessee is no joke now.

It's certainly any harder than getting into most SEC schools.

I would like to see what the requirements of other schools are.
OM and MSU is an 18 ACT and a 3.0 GPA.
What are others?

Back in the day LSU was incredibly easy to get in. Thank God we increased our standards some.

Acceptance rates aren't a very good measure of how hard it is to get into a school.
Since both Ole Miss and Miss. St have the same admission requirements (anyone with an 18 and a 3.0 get in, everyone else out), Mississippi state simply had a higher number of unqualified applicants.
Same thing could be true for Auburn and Arkansas. Arkansas might be more of a destination school, therefore attracting more unqualified applicants than Auburn.
I mean, I didn't apply to Auburn but I would have at least considered Arkansas.
I did apply to UGA, Tenn, and Ole Miss, though.

And what I don't understand is why you can do that and not have to keep your standards as low as those of Southern or Grambling, while Ole Miss and MSU don't have that choice relative to Jackson State and Alcorn....
Maybe because nobody in Louisiana has decided to make a Federal case out of it yet?

Not for Automatic admission, but you can get into Ole Miss or State if you have a sub 18 and a 4.0, especially if you are an athlete
I've never met anyone personally who had a sub 18, though.
