Anybody else going? I could see us losing since we are pitching Goforth, but either way, it doesn't matter. Can't wait to drink a few cold ones and catch my first baseball game of the season

I'll be there, just bc I have to come to Jackson. I was excited till I heard Goforth was pitching. I do think its a smart move to let him work out his issues, but will be extremely surprised if OM doesnt get beat by multiple runs.

Saying I think we will get beat because we throw Goforth? Or the part that it doesn't matter in the long run? Both are true. Goforth has been bad, and this game doesn't count in the conference. Continue on flamer

Hope Goforth is focused and keeps the ball down instead of serving up meatballs all night.

I am going to go out on a limb and say Connor Powers hits a jack tonite.

I could see it too.

But I could also have seen us losing back in 2005 when we started a struggling Eric Fowler. But he K'ed MSU 11 times that game and it turned around his season.

I could also have seen us losing back in 2006 when we started a struggling Will Kline. But he K'ed MSU 9 times that game and turned into a beast for the next year and a half.

.....just sayin. Don't give up on him just yet. Goforth has good stuff. Just needs to get his head straight.

I agree, he obviously can pitch at times or he wouldn't be playing, but he better pick it up

Well put Pank. I wish it was on TV or the net. Guess I'll just have to settle for DK and G-Darb.

So I am making an excuse because we are throwing a pitcher who is in a hole right now? Wow, leave it up to an LSU fan to come up with that

not sure what this even means but no one throws front line pitching during midweeks. but not everyone sits there and makes excuses before the game has started either.

Ok, yeah, that's what I'm doing then if that's how you want to interpret it. Don't feel like dealing with your flaming right now
