I know it's early but looks like it will be a fight btw Bama and LSU. He is a great prospect with an incredible list of offers. Projects at CB.

You haven't heard? It's the Chizik Effect. The Tiger Prowl and Big Cat Weekend swayed him.

Sarcasm...

Alabama leads big. He'll be at A-Day. Might commit then, unless he sees something at LSU's spring game he likes more.

Auburn has strong ties to some of the greatest men in our country's history. Men like Ben Franklin, Ulysses S. Grant, Andrew Jackson, Alexander Hamilton, Abraham Lincoln, and George Washington. Who wouldn't want to join that brotherhood of American legends?

Oh now i see, but yeah i think Bama and LSU are close to even right now. Hopefully he doesn't commit at A Day and then i think things will even out

I don't know what I am saying here, but Memphis asked me to pass this message along to Capstone:

"it's in the Jabriel Washington thread... tell him to check rivals again before he runs his big mouth"

I would stay to chat, but I am off to watch South Park. Please don't hold my role as messenger against me.

He also says he loves all of you and misses you all tons.

So, he should know that Washington is visiting Alabama once again, and will be at Alabama's spring game, after LSU's.

He was at LSU last weekend(3/20)and said he will take about 2 months to figure things out and then make a decision. From the word and feelings I've been getting it will probably be Alabama.LSU was the favorite but Bama's(Saban)is giving him the "play whereever you want" pitch. He seems to want to play offense.Whatever it takes to get that signature as far as I see it.No hard feelings here.Anyone going heads up with Bama this year has to be prepared to lose.Powerhouse recruiting and coming off a NC means they are going to get just about whoever they want if a player is seriously considering them. They'll lose some of course but have to be considered a serious threat in any decision where they are serious players.I'm not talking about a guy that has them in a token top 5 but a guy where they are considered one of the favorites.LSU doesn't seem to have many players they are going heads up with Bama(in state is ours,no real competition there, and vice versa).A lot like last year where the only 2 I remeber really being down to LSU/Bama were Chad Lindsey(no LSU offer) and Justin Maclin(too many ties to LSU with Larry Porter).I don't mind if it stays that way to be honest.Bama can take on Florida and others for guys(and win their fair share)and we'll keep getting the guys we always get.Win,win in my view. It's still very early and we'll both get good classes.I've heard a lot of talk that Bama is taking a small class and pretty much knows most of it and are moving towards 2012(big year in Alabama). You Bama guys heard this as well? Thanks ahead of time to any that answer.

The in-state class of 2012 is going to be awesome. Lots of chatter about it already. The 2011 class will be 20 or so signees.

Winston is the beast but there are plenty of others.Alexander is another.@012 will be the year that Bama either proves their dominance of Auburn(my thought is this)or Auburn starts knocking a hole in the wall. This past year(2010 class) and this year(2011 class) aren't really good barometers to me because the state classes weren't loaded like the previous 2.There were/are some very good players but not really enough of them or the type of guys that make or break a class.Should be very interesting.I love it when both of you guys programs are at least energized if not both good again.Makes for some interesting reading on the web.

Some great ones for the 2012 in-state crop for Alabama. A number of them already have offers from Alabama.

OT, Mike Flint - Oxford, Ala.
OG, Caleb Peterson - Auburn, Ala.
LB, Kwon Alexader - Oxford, Ala.
CB, Trae Elston - Oxford, Ala.

Coach Scott Cochran will take care of that, along with assistant Freddie Roach. They could use the peanut butter diet, like they used on A.J. McCarron.
