That was Ratliffe Tuck. He didn't say a few threes but yeah he said something about how he didn't want to be at a place where if he took a three he'd get pulled.

To be fair, he was really just saying out loud the kind of thing that a lot of big time recruits think.

Yep, thats him and that the baggage I was referring to along with his handler.

LOL, no it was Ratliffe. It was a rivals article. The questions about Cothron are mainly about not always playing hard enough on defense. And shot selection.

Mississippi State was recruiting Cothern, and I remember reading an article on a pay site where he said that he was going to go somewhere that he would start as a Freshman and get lots of PT.

That wouldn't surprise me at all. And I wouldn't call that baggage. Being lazy is baggage, but Grant must think he can work it out. Assuming its true.

Would you say that if it were a football player and the situation was reversed? Me thinks you would say it's better to be 2nd string at bama and play eventually than start day one at UK.

I still don't know what that has to do with baggage? The only thing you could say was well he's not as concerned with winning championships. And really that's a lame thing to say after somebody picks another school but whatever. I don't even think I said that about Keenan Allen, you never know, maybe I did I tried to stick with making fun of his effeminate brother.

The facts are he would have a better chance at winning a title at Kentucky, everyone knows that. But I don't know if it means he has baggage.

And anyway Kentucky is one of his two favorites. I just don't want lazy players, if he plays hard night in and night out I'll forget instantly that he may have picked us just for playing time reasons.

I wasn't replying to you. I was disagreeing with him saying that it's better to start at bama than to sit at UK.

Don't know if you're being sarcastic, but I would have the same mindset. It would be better to sit at first at bama than start at UK in football.

No. No sarcasm. It was a perfect point and I'm giving credit where credit it due.

Ratliffe also said in that same article that he planned on going pro after his junior year. Enjoy him for one season while he pisses off his teammates trying to audition for the NBA scouts. If you get him, that is.
