Bobby Petrino: Did you think he would be here for Year #3?

You can't fire a coach after only two years and there was no way that Petrino was going to be successful enough to get a better job offer.

I think it will be his 5th or 6th year before the black shirts and airplane banners appear.

Yeah. I figured it would take at least 5 years for you piggies to realize he is a mediocre coach in the SEC. The writing is on the wall with this 48th ranked class.

IMHO, I figure he'll stick around till his sons on the team graduate for sure, then after that if a better offer presents itself he might move on. That will give him what, 6 or 7 years? That is about average it seems for a coach in the SEC.

It is very sad that your best win was a 8-5 AU team with a 1st year head coach.
