Tuberville said in a Texas Tech news release. "Having spent the last year at Alabama, he knows what is involved in building a championship-caliber defense, and he and his family are thrilled to be part of the Texas Tech family."

When it comes to idolizing a coach, nobody, and I mean nobody, can hold candle to the Alabama faithful and their circle jerk-esque infatuation with their coaches.
I think Tuberville, as well as most other coaches, respect Saban as a colleague.

He did when Saban was at lsu. 1-1 against Saban at Bama. Guess Bama is just better.
