1) Good Offensive coach
2) Nice/ Plays by the SEC rules (not going to call coaches out aka Kiffin)
3) Can be a father figure rather than older brother
4) Knows the SEC and how to recruit

What is holding Tennessee back? Would be a great hire IMO.

This would be the only thing that could make the UT situation better in my mind. If I get to witness the massive meltdown from both Tennessee AND Auburn fans I could probably save money by unhooking my cable.

If this happens, Malzahn would be the biggest job hopper ever.

5 jobs in 5 years.

I think Malzahn going to ECU to take over for Skip Holtz is more realistic than him going to Tennessee.

Dyer to Tennessee if so?

Trooper Taylor will provide lapdances since UT hostesses must remain on lockdown.

Gus's staff will feature coaches that have more experience than him by 10x.

Auburn fans will claim not to care.

Alabama will laugh histarically

Arkansas beats Tenn in Neyland because we do well against Malzhan.

Slipper Slope threads appear on the internet

Someone discovers one of Monte's accidental poopies in Lane's old office.

any school that gets malzahn will be a good hire until opposing teams figure out that smoke and mirror offense

Haha no chance in hell. Malzahn wants to be a head coach, no doubt. But he knows he's not ready and he also probably doesn't want to be sent to a suicide mission either. Right now, UT is a suicide mission.

I still think that Malzahn would fit in perfectly with Tenn. He is a winner and like offense (isnt this the reason the fired Fulmer?)

Tenn always recruits well. Im sure Malzahn could find a good DC in the time. If Malzahn went to UT, i bet most recruits would stay with them
