Does anyone know if Phelon traveled with LSU for the 2007 National championship and recieved a NC ring? If so, would he be the 1st athelete ever two win a championship ever from (2) different schools?

Doesn't matter if he played or not. He could have contributed another way like on the scout team. All team members, coaches, equipment handlers, Athletic Directors, etc. gets rings.
Would be neat to have a LSU national championship ring and an Alabama national championship ring.
