...reminded me of JPW's fumble in the 2007 LSU game in Bryant Denny. How many of you LSU fans were thinking the same thing?

We have more than two, they gave the crystal before the BCS, but I know what you meant and you are right. We only have one BCS championship but I am proud of our team for earning it.

technically 92 was 1v2 and we won that yr went undefeated and that NC was never questioned by anybody. in essence it was as good as any NC in the bcs era

Just as the media considers it - when the BCS "series" was introduced to us. That is a fair measuring stick for all teams (SEC or otherwise) to judge themselves by going forward.

ESPN always says the modern era started in 1936 when the first AP poll was released.

The 1992 NC was in the Bowl Coalition era, which became the BCA then the BCS.
