The SEC has not impressed me this bowl season in any way shape or form.

If we finish at 6 & 4 with 2 BCS wins including the BCSNCG win then I'd say the SEC had very good Bowl Season. I have to say I'm suprised by the USCe outcome the most.

I'm surprised by the LSU/Penn State game most.

I did, but LSU usually prepares pretty well for their bowl games.

As long as my team wins its bowl game, I could give a rat's arse what the others do. I don't let other teams' failures in bowls depict my team.

eh what other conf have looked good besides the mwc?
all that really matters is what your personal team does

That's true, but I don't want to hear UConn fans, or any other talking shite now. They beat one SEC team, and they get this idea they can take them all on.

I watched a lot of LSU this year, but I also know that Penn St lost to the only two good teams they played and before the bowl game, the only teams they beat with winning records were Northwestern and Temple. I'm shocked LSU couldn't beat them.

With a decent field LSU wins that game, because TH would have had at least 2 or 3 touchdowns.
It still doesnt really pardon how the offense performed

I expected Virginia Tech to win by ten or more.

they werent as bad as they were last yr and beat a good GT team(one dimensionall) but considering they were back this yr I was more impressed with LSU victory from last yr.

With a decent field, Penn State still wins the game. Maybe I fell asleep but didn't LSU and Penn State played on the same field under the same conditions? I hate how people attribute LSU losing games to the conditions of the field, calls not being made against the other team, the refs sucked, ESPN hates LSU, etc. I hope that people who think this way are teens who never attended LSU or people who never set foot on LSU's campus because this train of thought is idiodic. LSU lost because the other team outplayed them or was a better team.

With better field conditions, PSU wins by 20

frick no.
LSU has speed, Penn St. has power.
Bad field conditions swings advantage toward power football.
That's just logic.
LSU wins that game under good conditions.

Better Field Conditions Penn State probably still wins. LSU was flat entire first half, even with better field conditions Ridley would not have done anything.

No. LSU wasn't going to run the ball regardless. The mud slowed PSU's running game. They would have rolled big time sans mud. Been watching football for many years and the mud favored LSU. Kept the scores low.
LSU wasn't going to score any more points regardless of the weather. Have you watched LSU at all this year?
