Alabama is every SEC team's Super Bowl

Why do teams try so much harder against Alabama then they do against other teams? Tennessee gave Alabama their best shot but had a mediocre year overall. Auburn's defense has been terrible the entire year. However, they found a way to shut down Mark Ingram. LSU played a competitive game against Bama but looked like shite against Ole Miss and Penn State. Six SEC teams scheduled their bye weeks the week before playing Alabama next year. Guys, it's just one game not the Super Bowl. Please stop blowing your wad against Alabama.

uf was the super bowl in 06, lsu in 07, uf last year. congrats it's your season. there have been plenty of years where the alabama game was at best the 4th most important game on the schedule.

I would agree that some of our fans make it hard to cheer for Bama, but I'm so glad the majority of fans are cheering against us. Makes victory so much sweeter when everyones against you.

You're right. However, during those years, SEC teams kicked serious arse OOC. This year, every team has looked horrible. Even the Georgia win didn't really impress me much. Texas A&M absolutely imploded in the second half.

I'm not saying we'll win..although I feel good. But Texas is a great team and will make for a hell of a game. But if we do win, the fact that everybody is against us will make it even better.
So don't try to make it a you against the world type thing because anybody that knows what theyre talking about knows Texas has a good shot. Find another motivational tactic bud.
