chizik's not that bad of a coach either. in all likelyhood, the recruiting and coaching he did is beginning to paying off. however, its more than likely that he was just in a bad situation out there.

Chizik started off with a good record at auburn feasting on cupcakes and a gimmick offense.

Once everyone caught on he reverted to 2-7.

I know math isnt Bammers strong point, but AU is 7-5, how 2-7 comes in the picture

Just remember, the worse u try to make AU look, remember how Bama had to claw and fight tooth and nail just to beat them.

Basically Bama fans are saying they were damn near beat by a less than talented team with a bum coach. Pretty embarrassing for them to admit.

are you comparing to suggest that Chizik will have an undefeated regular season next year?

Just making the point that just b/c a first year coach doesnt do well in his first year doesnt mean he's destined to have an awful tenure. I used Saban as an example.

Saban had already won SEC and National Championships....he didn't have to prove he was a good coach.

Chizik hasn't proved anything.

BAMA dominated auburn in the 4th quarter and made them quit. There was little resistance on the final drive... BAMA walked it down the field.

Doesnt change the fact that Saban had to fight tooth and nail to beat garbage AU/Chizik and UT/Kiffin.

Bammers think there's this huge gap between the two teams, play on the field proved otherwise

Yeah both these teams playes bama close, however bama won both games and is playing texas for the national championship. I would say thats a pretty big gap.
