is crazy. It would be very disappointing to me to see Ingram win the heisman. he's not even the best running back on the team. Watch when they give Richardson a series. it's not even close. Anyone who can't see that Richardson is better than Ingram is fricking blind.

that's all....

It's going to be close. I think McCoy has the edge because to the lifetime achievement factor. I know that's not the way it should be, but a lot of voters think that way I imagine.

I'd vote for the hoss from Nebraska. A defensive player should win every once in a while.

I really think the sophomore thing for Ingram will be a challenge. I know Tebow won as a sophomore but there was no one else who could compete.

McFadden was great, but Tebow was head and shoulders above the other finalists. That's not the way it is this year.

McCoy and the Stanford kid are legitimate challengers. I think a lot of voters are still of that old traditional ilk that aren't keen on a sophomore winning. I mean it took what, like 73 years before a sophomore won? Not so certain they will bestow the honor again so quickly.

Uh, a sophomore has won the last two Heisman Trophies. Did you forget about Bradford??

Saban agrees. That's why he benched Ingram for Richardson in the Auburn game.

Course the bammers will say he had a hip pointer. Their proof of his 'obvious hip pointer' was evident when the trainer on the sidelines was rubbing his arm to somehow ease the pain in his hip.

I agree with you man. I've said all along Richardson was better than Ingram. Ingram just get's the touches because he's the upper classman. I still want Ingram to win it though...but only cause I'm a homer. I think Suh deserves it.

Yeah I did. For some reason I thought he was a junior. My bad. Well, maybe the traditionalists won't want to continue a trend.

Everyone has their own little petty arguments to justify their biases.

The reality is that Ingram is just as deserving as any of the other candidates. Stiffarm currently has Ingram in the lead, but the votes are very close.

McCoy basically blew it and is in 4th. He got left off of a lot of ballots.

Suh has the most first place votes, but he got left off a lot of ballots.

Gerhart and Ingram are neck and neck.

This may be the first one that they get wrong.

Another moral victory in shutting down Ingram. Congrats, but you still lost.

Is it also a moral victory for the LSU fan who started this thread? LMAO at how you bammers are too stupid for a halfway decent comeback, so you break out the 'moral victory' BS. That's the 'I'm a dumbass' default post, isn't it?

I meant the first prediction that stiffarmtrophy gets wrong, not the first wrong pick for Heisman.

Sorry if that was not clear.

Umm Sam Bradford?

I think once the broke down and gave it to one Sophomore it became easier to give it to another one. Now, if a freshman was up for the award...

I'm pretty sure he meant that this could be the first year that stiffarmtrophy.com does not correctly predict the winner. They are 7/7 since they started their website, but this one is so close that all of their predictors could be useless.
