Seems some forget why they play the games on the field...

Funny how everyone seems so assured that Bama is going to dismantle Texas. We might as well not even bother playing the game. Who here would have guessed this time last week that Bama would end up mauling the Gators by more than 2 TDs. Last week everyone was so sure that Bama would be destroyed because they didn't look good against lowly Auburn.

I'm sure your post count doesn't reflect your agenda... but let's say that weren't true... and you're a real Texas fan... Then my few words are simply this. I definitely respect the Texas football team and look highly forward to a BCS matchup with y'all.

Yes but could the hunters become the hunted? McElroy is going to have his hands full as well. Yes he played an awesome game on Saturday. However I don't believe Florida's defense came anywhere close to giving Bama their best shot. Ironically I say the Texas defense is going to be the difference maker in the game.

I'm not sure everyone is "assured". I think that people have an opinion, based on what they've seen on the field this year.

You might be right, and as you said, it's why they play the games on the field. I haven't watched y'all all that much (A&M and Nebraska about it), but if that is the best defense Muschamp can put on the field, y'all are going to get clobbered. If it's any consolation, I have 2 kids and I am pulling a "Sophie's Choice" to decide which one I am going to sacrifice to keep Bama from winning.

I agree that was a poor defensive showing against A&M. But did you know that A&M has a top 10 offense? I wouldn't be one bit suprised if they beat UGA. As far as the Nebraska game goes I don't know what the knock on Texas' defense would be. With the offense playing so poorly they had zero margin for error and held the line. They won the damn game in my opinion.

Yeah I saw a few of those faces after the LSU vs Ole Miss, UF, and Bama games this year. Sorry if you didn't realize it already but let me tell you that LSU has moved up on the list for spoiled arrogant fanbases.
