After readind several media predictions for the NC game, I notice an overwhelming majority have Florida in there over Alabama. ALso, many posters on here have the Gators in.

My questions are what do people base this on? I for one think this will go either way and for some reason think that Bama might pull it out.

Also - I am not sold on Texas beating Neb.

IMO, it is being based on how Bama played against auburn and how Florida played against Florida State.

The two defenses are pretty much equal.

I trust Tebow more than McElroy... and when it comes down to it, I think he will make plays that swing it to Florida's favor.

that's about it. I'm just ready for what I think will be an amazing game!

bama wins this game by 10 or more the only thing that loss those lats two games for us last year was pass rush and i think it is a night and day difference this year.

I also think people base it on breaking down the teams which ultimately winds up with Florida having Tim Tebow and Alabama not.

The way we played against Auburn is kind of a lame reason to tellll you the truth. They used a bye week to prepare a flurry of trick and misdirection plays that led to two scores. The other came by Barron letting a guy get behind him.

This was while we were a little flat, probably aided by our six days rest.

And we still won, utilizing the arm of a QB people suggest cant win a game with his arm.

So, I dont get why there isnt much more argument about who will win.
