I posted this here on the SEC Rant because I wanted Arkansas/Alabama fans to see it. It is my way of encouraging Arkansas fans and showing Alabama fans that admitting that the refs made a bad call does not take away your excitement from winning the game.

Would clock it on 2nd down and make it 3rd and 3 with maybe 15 ticks. You never know at that point.

Didn't PP get away with a clear tug of the jersey right before the helmet to helmet?
FWIW I'm not getting into refs gave them the game mode, just that it evened out with the helmet to helmet call.

would have needed to get about 5-7 more yards. It shouldn't have been a problem, but would the need to hurry even more make Les retard out again? Jasper has the leg for 52-55 yarder.

Ultimately, I don't think that LSU fans are nearly as insecure as Alabama fans. We are capable of criticizing our team/coaches and we also do not need to lie to defend blown calls by the refs. They blew this one. Big deal. Ridley should have been called down in bounds, but he wasn't and we won the game. I'd rather calls be right, but it doesn't take away from the win for us, especially when you consider how many times calls have gone against us this year.

Bama fans seem more homogeneous in mindset, across the board. Pretty creepy, imo.

Seriously dude. We have criticized the refs. I don't know how many times we have to say it was an interception. Regarding the game tonight, you had fans saying he was out of bounds FWIW.

But the very next play was in incomplete pass, so had they counted Ridley down in bounds, we would have just lined it up and spiked it, leaving the same down and yardage and only 2 or 3 more seconds of the board

We're happy with our coach. That's all really. To say we're not critical at all of our team or coach is absurd and ignores how long we sucked and how whiny we were the whole time. The Shula years were one long angry blur for me. We haven't lost a regular season game in two years and there was still a meltdown mid season about HOW we were winning games.

Alot of fans on the scoreboard are saying it would have been a 58 yard attempt from that spot. Big diff.
