Bowl possibilities- Ark, Aub, LSU, Ole Miss

How does this end up shaking out?
How will the possible outcomes ths weekend affect the match ups? If Arkansas beats LSU and Ole Miss beats Miss St could LSU really fall all the way to the Music City or Liberty? Chick Fil A apparently doesn't want LSU two years in a row(especially with LSU playing in the Chik Fil A kick off game next year).
What are Auburn's bowl possibilities looking like with a win today? With a loss?

Peach with an LSU win. Cotton with an LSU loss (but IMO LSU goes cotton with a win or a loss)

Music City
If we win today we go to Disney World. If we lose and LSU loses the SEC bowl standings will be nothing short of a cluster frick.

An Auburn win means chik-fil-a. Alabama would then go to the capital one assuming they also lose to Florida. A win against Florida after that would mean sugar with the MNCG being UT-A vs TCU.
Arkansas wins cinches Cotton assuming Alabama wins, Liberty otherwise. Possibly Outback if we win and OM loses.
Ole Miss has to implode to lose today and then Cotton, assuming they win it's Capital One.

If Arkansas wins, Cotton.
If Arkansas loses, Liberty/Independence.
I can give you a 99.9% accuracy stamp on that.

The SEC is already a cluster with only Florida, Bama, OM, and LSU with good records (assuming all 4 of these teams win). The East was very bad this year and teams that wouldn't normally get in that high of a bowl, will.
The crazy part is that the winner of the Kentucky/Tennessee game will probably go Outback. I am going to say if all favorites win this weekend then:
OM- Cap One
LSU- Cotton
Auburn- Chikfila
Arky- Liberty
Georgia- Music City
Kentucky- Outback
Tennessee- Indy

This is exactly how it will look if the favorites win.
But.......with the LSU/Arkansas game being a toss-up, IMO, Arkansas could easily end up in the Cotton, with LSU somewhere lesser.

quote:Possibly. If Arky wins, I think its 50/50 on who goes to the Cotton. Cotton may still take LSU, but it certainly is close. I don't have a ton of faith in Miles, but I think the seniors win it tomorrow. I am just excited that we are playing a defense that may actually make us look like we have a decent offense.

It will be a helluva game IMO.

Speaking of, what's your take on the boot? Honestly that's a damn good looking trophy. But you gotta love the states to like it I guess?
See you guys in Baton Rouge tomorrow, I'll be the guy wearing Arkansas in Purple in Gold so as to not have beer thrown at the back of my head.

You guys forgot South Carolina to the Papajohns.com. Which I think is probably a lock. But I have also seen projections with Georgia going to Papajohns and Carolina going to Indy.

Despite the boot, I think this series has become a pretty good rivalry and a good way to finish the season. I don't hate the boot, I just wish it was a little less 'blingy'.
Welcome to BR and hope you have a great time and safe trip.
