I respect the hell out of the recruiting classes that LSU brings in every year. But there's always the possibility that LSU has the big name to bring them in.
But I said back in July that Les Miles would get either fired or in really hot damned water at the end of the year and I got laughed at like hell.
So no, I wouldn't trade.

Not in 2005, not in 2006, not in 2007, frick no in 2008, and absolutely not in 2009.
I viewed him as a mediocre at best coach in 2007, in 2008 I thought he was pretty bad, and now I'm thinking he's among the bottom tier of BCS head coaches.

I really think you can be somewhere in the "good" range in recruiting in LA and still get very good classes. I've never doubted his ability to recruit....I just think a lot of big time coaches that we can afford could do very well recruiting here also......and then coach em up.

His recruiting is alright, but LSU is in a pretty good area to recruit in. His development of his recruits is borderline pathetic.

but Miles converted 5 4th down vs Florida in 2007 vs a Florida defense with 9 new starters at home???? He also had the miracle pass vs Auburn too. KeepLesMiles.com

His clock management is the worst in the SEC and has been since he has been at LSU. He is gifted by the fact that Saban built a massive in state pipeline for players just to go to LSU instead of outside the state. You couldn't give him to me with 100 million dollars in his wallet.
