I always hate when a team goes for two this early in a game.
What's the earliest in a game that you'd go for two?
For me I would probably never go for 2 before the 4th quarter.

You don't chase points in the second quarter.
If LSU scores a TD here OM is down 2 possessions.

agree.... pretty stupid. I can't think of one good reason to go for it.

it sort of depends on the flow of the game. I remember in the 05 Ark vs Lsu game we went for 2 on 3 different times and never made it and ended up losing 42-45. Usually midway through the third quarter is the time to start thinking about 2 more

So it depends on the flow of the game but usually the middle of the third quarter is the best time huh?
