I've seen quite a few lists on the board so far but most of them don't have a single offensive or defensive line player. Seems a bit odd.

Anybody want to take a shot at a big ugly top 10?

I couldn't give a top 10, but I can give you 10 in no particular order.

Terrance Cody-Bama,
Jerrell Powe-Ole Miss,
Ciron Black-LSU,
Pernell McPhee-State
Antonio Coleman- Da Barn
Carlos Dunlap-UF
Eric Norwood-SC (he's kind of a hybrid)
John Jerry- Ole Miss

actually, that's all that I can suggest.

Florida's other DE Cunningham is pretty good too. Dunlap gets the publicity, Cunningham just does work.

Dunlap and Cunningham will be 1st round picks.

A 3/4 team will take Cunningham, he will be a great rush OLB.

And everyone knows about Dunlap's potential as he will go easily in the 1st round.

Cunningham has 7 sacks, the most in the SEC. Dunlap is 3rd in the SEC with 6 total sacks. You can't really put one in the top 10 and keep the other off.

Ma. Pouncey is one of the top OL in the league also.

I don't know enough about the players individually. But, Florida and Alabama's O-lines are playing pretty damn good collectively. Guess that's why Bama's unbeaten and Florida has only lost 1 game.

If UF has lost one game Bama has lost 2 games.

I don't know enough about the other SEC teams to comment. About the only two Razorbacks I think could even enter into the conversation are OL Mitch Petrus and DL Malcolm Sheppard.

I know the FL DE's have put up big sack #'s but they didn't impress me that much during OUR game, but that's just a one game sample.

Lockett (sp?) at Ole Miss has always caught my attention.

I've never been a fan of Cody's "unique" skill set, but I can appreciate how he anchors that 3-4.

Kentrell "Block-it" Lockett.

He played his arse off after being hospitalized with a 103 degree fever on Friday night. Definitely a beast. I think he'll end up with better results than Greg Hardy(Simply from a health standpoint).

And he's a Junior

Jeff Owens and Geno Atkins of UGA should be considered. Both are DTs and have had solid careers but somewhat subpar 2009s considering expectations. Still pretty darn good though. Unfortunately, if it weren't for injuries, I truly feel Trinton Sturdivant as a true Junior would be in the top 2 or 3, maybe even #1. His TFr season in 07 was a thing of beauty, then got sidelined for the year the past 2 years after major injuries to the same knee. Oh well..

Hey, all the refs did to LSU was deny them a fair CHANCE to win the game. They didn't take the win from their cold dead hands like they did Arky. And, why you say 2?
