Is there an update on the injured player that was carried off?

Injury Report: Redshirt freshman safety Baccari Rambo had a concussion in the fourth quarter and was carted off the field. He was initially unconscious on the field and then regained conscious. He has movement in all extremities; he has sensation in all extremities. He was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital.

I was watching the LSU game so I am not sure...The replay looked horrible.

It was a stange thing...it was a hard hit, sure, but there wasn't any helmet to helmet contact or slamming of the head into the ground that you usually associate with concussions that knock a player out.

He must have just connected with the Auburn receiver in just the wrong way...kind of a freak thing it seemed to me.

The way I saw it, it looked like he hit to the side of the head, near the neck. Could have pinched nerves, rattled the brain, and done all sorts of other damage too.

Glad he's moving though!

Yeah, that's pretty much how I saw it as well.

Glad he seems to be relatively okay, though.

Yeah, I was actually grateful to hear that it was "just" a concussion...the way they hit, with his neck seeming to take a lot of the impact, I was afraid he had damaged his spine.

I'm sure they will hold him out next week, and possibly against GT as well. No fooling around with concussions in today's game. Better to be safe, no win is worth endangering a players health.
