Damn SEC refs can't get anything right. That last play with fat arse Cody was excessive celebration. Tennessee should have gotten a re-kick.

that will never be called in any game during the history of mankind

Yeah like that would ever happen @Bama.

Cody could have shot bottle rockets out of his arse. No way that call gets made. The officials got ripped over the rediculous penalties called previously this season.

the point is that that call would never happen
and it would be 15 yards on bama after there was a turnover on downs, and bama gets 1st and 25 with 0:00 left

Yea, something we are use to seeing from SEC refs...i'm sure we will see another one or two or maybe even three blunders in tonites game...SEC officiating is the WORST by far in any sport..

COdy THREW his helmet off in celebration. Rules state a player can not take his helmet off on the field of play. Even the commentators stated it should have been a penalty.

The flag should have been thrown as it was technically still a live ball. If UT had recovered behind the line of scrimage, I believe it may have been UT ball as it was kicked on 3rd down. CBS wever truly showed where the ball was recovered.

Now honestly, under the circumstances, Bama blocked the punt with 4 seconds and won. If the refs had called excessive celebration especially after the block, and Tennessee won on a re-kick, i can't even begin to speculate on the aftermath.
It pains me to say, but Bama pulled it out in the end.

A penalty can't be called after the game is over dumbass. I guess when the players are shaking hands afterwards they should leave their helmets on so as to not get penalized?

Dude, you do realize who you're talkin about right?

Not a turnover on downs as UT kicked on 3rd down. It does not matter as bama coverred the ball.
I believe that UT would retain possesion if UT recovered a blocked kick behind the line of scrimage and it had not been kicked on 4th down.

shut up. it would have been a stupid penalty.

The ball was still live when Cody threw his helmet off. Two Bama defenders covered the ball after that to kill the ball. It was a lilve ball before it was covered.
