I posted his LSU-UF prediction on the rant, so I thought I'd post this one over here.

The last 4 have only been decided by 3 ppg (UM 4-0 ATS). Last time in Oxford, a controversial call overturned a UM comp to the Bama4 with :07 left and UA (-6’) hung on for a 27-24 win. Last year UM trailed 24-3 at the half but scored 17 consecutive pts in the 2H, falling just short 24-20. Nutt has 6 outright upsets vs Top 10S/’98 and beat eventual national champ Florida in the Swamp last year. UM QB Snead has struggled TY avg only 182 ypg (51%) with a 9-5 ratio while UA QB McElroy has excelled avg 217 ypg (66%) with a 9-1 ratio. I picked Ole Miss to win the West at the start of the year and despite Alabama playing the best ball so far this year, I will call for the upset at home.

PHIL’S FORECAST : MISS 23 ALABAMA 20

So, basically he's refusing to admit he was wrong.

Phil must play alongside Dale in the Ole Titanic's band?

That's what I got out of it to.

There was photographic proof that the call was right in the Bama Ole Miss game...I've posted it here several times.

Phil Steele has been money the last few years..but I think he's laid an egg or two this year.

Doesn't matter. It was (at the time) a non-reviewable play. Technically the call was wrong. The review, itself, is what is disputed. Very few penalties can be reviewed, that wasn't one of them at the time.

One of the highlights of that game was when the Ole Miss girls threw their shoes on the field.

I like how if anyone picks against Alabama, the fans think they are a giant tool who doesn't know what he's talking about.

Feel free to dispute it. You can also feel free to prove me wrong. I looked up the replay rules THAT night and reviewing whether or not a WR stepped out of bounds was NOT a reviewable penalty.
